Understanding Our Grading System

Our grading system is based on the condition of each garment. As we specialise in wholesale second-hand clothing, every item has been previously worn and will vary in condition.

Our aim is to help you understand exactly what to expect before placing your order.

Grade A

Excellent Condition

Grade A items are in excellent used condition and are ideal for resale.

You can expect:

  • Excellent overall condition
  • Clean and ready to sell or wear
  • No holes, tears or major defects
  • Only very minor signs of previous wear

Grade B

Good Condition

Grade B items remain fully wearable but show more noticeable signs of previous use.

MAY INCLUDE:

  • Small marks
  • Light fading
  • Minor repairs
  • Small imperfections
  • Light bobbling
  • General signs of wear

These items are still suitable for resale.

Grade C

Fair Condition

Grade C items have heavy signs of wear and are best suited for repair, upcycling, workwear or textile recycling.

MAY INCLUDE:

  • Rips or holes
  • Bleach stains
  • Heavy staining
  • Paint marks
  • Broken zips
  • Missing buttons
  • Large repairs
  • Significant fading
  • Other noticeable defects

Wholesale Grading

All clothing is graded by hand using our experienced grading process.

As wholesale clothing is processed in bulk, grading is based on the overall condition of the sack or bundle, rather than every individual item.

While the vast majority of items will fall within the advertised grade, a small percentage may occasionally vary. This is standard practice throughout the wholesale clothing industry.
